The Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Programme of Helvetas Nepal is supporting initiatives of local governments, communities and organizations for water resources management, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in Dailekh, Surkhet, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Pashchim Rukum, Salyan districts in Karnali and Achham district in Sudur Pashchim Province.
Helvetas Nepal invites applications from interested and committed Nepali citizens for the following position:
Monitoring, Compliance and Knowledge Management Specialist -1 (Only for women candidates)
Duty station: Programme Management Unit, Birendranagar Surkhet (With frequent field visits)
Job Purpose
- Design and implement Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and knowledge management frameworks to operationalize Integrated Water Resources Management Programme;
- Establish planning and monitoring systems for timely achieving the set outputs and outcomes of the programme;
- Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports, monitoring, evaluation and results reports and other documents for Helvetas head office, donors and other relevant stakeholders;
- Strengthen compliance of the programme’s operating procedures, organization policies, and applicable regulations; and support the grievance handling system in the programme.
Required Education, Experience, and Competencies
- Master’s degree in social sciences, statistics, management, law, engineering, or any other relevant subject. A minimum of five years of working experience in development projects with three years of experience in planning, monitoring, and knowledge management. Expertise and experience in compliance monitoring will be an advantage. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction.
Duration: Till 31 December 2025 (Possibility of extension, depending upon available funds and needs)
Remuneration and Benefits: As per the rules and regulations of Helvetas Nepal.
