Mobile App Developer – Flutter

About us:

Neelgai is seeking a talented Mobile App Developer to join our team. If you’re passionate about crafting top-notch mobile applications and have expertise in Android and iOS development, we want you! We are looking to bring an independent mobile app developer with experience deploying Flutter app. This is with a high profile startup potentially funded by YC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven 2+ years of work experience as a Mobile App Developer, with practical experience in developing apps for iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Not Required but Great to have:

• Published apps in the App Store and/or Google Play Store.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Some additional Machine Learning or Generative AI is a huge plus
• Knowledge of Mapbox API
