Assistant Manager – Credit Control

Basic Information
Position: Assistant Manager
Department: Credit Control
Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field
Experience: At least 2 – 3 years of experience in the related field
Location: Sinamangal, Kathmandu

Key Responsibilities:

1. DO Approval Management:

  • Review and approve Delivery Orders (DO) in accordance with company policies and credit limits.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation related to DO approvals.
  • Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to resolve any issues related to DO approvals.

2. Aging Reports Preparation:

  • Prepare and analyze aging reports for NPA parties on a regular basis.
  • Identify and investigate overdue accounts, highlighting potential risks and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of outstanding payments.

3. Credit Control Oversight:

  • Oversee all matters related to the credit control department, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer credit limits and payment terms.

4. Risk Management:

  • Assess and mitigate credit risk by analyzing customer creditworthiness and financial stability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.

Competency/ Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
