Context:
Under the overall administrative supervision of the Chief of Mission and overall supervision of Chief Migration Health Officer (CMHO) and the direct supervision of the Senior Medical Administrative Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out the following duties and responsibilities in relation to the Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC) in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and guide the clients for necessary procedures for health assessment such as chest X-ray, laboratory testing, vaccination, anthropometry and physical examination.
2. Prevents overcrowding and ensure orderly and safe movements of clients in the compound.
3. Assist MHAC staffs during health assessment with clerical work.
4. Collect, deliver and distribute mails/packages and move items as requested.
5. Ensure sufficient stock of drinking water and initiating daily supply and delivery to office water coolers.
6. Verify sufficient stock of printing papers and initiating daily supply and delivery of papers to printers and copy machines.
7. Assist in maintenance of general cleanliness by disinfection of common spaces including restocking dispensers and sanitizing fixtures.
8. Perform any other duties as may be required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education
- Completed High School Degree from an accredited academic institution; or
- Completed School leaving certificate from an accredited academic institution.
Experience
- Relevant work experience in any other offices.
- Experience of working as a messenger/office assistant handling clients.
- Experience of handling large group of people.
- Team-work oriented with capacity to work independently.
- Cross cultural experience.
Skills
- Ability to communicate well with your co-workers, clients.
- Self-motivated and objective driven.
Languages
Fluency in English, Nepali is required.

Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment. Only Nepali Nationals will be considered for this position.
