Social Worker – Children’s Home
Location: Birgunj, Parwanipur, Nepal
Salary: Rs 25,000 per month with food and accomodation
Our Sansar is seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our team at the Children’s Home in Birgunj. This is a live-in position, requiring a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Care & Counselling: Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to the children, ensuring their well-being and addressing any personal or psychological challenges they may face.
Education & Activities: Ensure that each child receives appropriate education and participates in enriching activities. This includes liaising with educational authorities, police, and other relevant stakeholders.
Future Planning: Develop and implement plans for the children’s futures, such as organizing skills training sessions to prepare them for independent living.
Academic Support: Offer after-school instruction, help children with their homework, and ensure they complete daily home activities and other assigned tasks.
Hygiene & Well-being: Oversee and attend to the hygiene and overall health of the children, promoting a clean and healthy environment.
Project Supervision: Supervise ongoing projects within the home and promptly report any issues to management, along with potential solutions.
Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counselling and a proven ability to work with various stakeholders.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English is required, along with basic computer skills, including familiarity with Excel, email, and Google Drive.
Personal Attributes: We seek an honest, hardworking individual who always prioritizes the best interests of the children. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Salary: Rs 25,000 per month (fixed).
