Administrative Assistant

Our Sansar are looking for an Administrative Assistant to help us with the smooth running of the projects. All our projects are based in Madhesh Pradesh and the role will require travel between Birgunj, Janakpur and Rautahat. We are looking for someone with previous finance experience who is able to communicate effectively in Nepali and English. Attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Check all the cashbooks, budgets and receipts from each project on a monthly basis
  • Assist staff with correct record keeping when needed
  • Ensure that projects do not go over budget
  • Assist with any paperwork needed for the projects, local authorities, children’s paperwork
  • Provide ad hoc admin support as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience with managing budgets, finance, record keeping
  • Strong communication skills in Nepali and English
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Passion for charity work
  • Flexibility

Salary: starting salary of 20,000 – 25,000Rs a month depending on experience, opportunity to grow with the organisation for the right candidates, food, accommodation also provided, health insurance
