Position: Social Worker
Location: Rautahat, Nepal
Our Sansar is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Rautahat as a Social Worker. This is a live-in role, ideal for someone already residing in or willing to relocate to Rautahat. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing our ongoing projects, ensuring timely and effective execution of activities, and fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate all activities related to the project, including daily classes, meetings with families, and skill training sessions aimed at improving the livelihoods of local families.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and develop strong relationships with staff members, local government officials, and community stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
Timely Execution: Ensure that all project activities are completed on schedule and meet the desired outcomes.
Community Work: Engage actively in the field and within the community, addressing challenges as they arise and ensuring the project’s objectives are met.
Reporting: Monitor project progress, identify any issues, and report them to the management, along with proposed solutions.
Administrative Tasks: Use basic computer skills (Excel, MS Word, Google Drive, etc.) to manage and report on project activities.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as project coordination or social work, preferably within community-based programs.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in both English and Nepali, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in computer applications including Excel, MS Word, and Google Drive.
Personal Qualities: Honest, hardworking, and passionate about improving the lives of others. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Facilities:
Salary: Rs 25,000 per month (with potential for increment based on performance and project progress).
Food Allowance: Rs 5,000 per month.
Accommodation and Health Insurance: Provided by the organization.
