We are looking for our Social Enterprise Coordinator to start as soon as possible. This is for our End to Child Labour project and the main aim of the role is to oversee the training and job opportunities for the families of the children that we are supporting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all families receive relevant training – set up the training, monitor the progress, amend as necessary
- Ensure all families are set up with work opportunities – assist with market research, market access, monitor the progress, oversee daily activities
- Work closely with the team to ensure we respond to any market trends and ensure all families are informed about those
- Come up with new ideas for relevant social enterprises/businesses
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience of either running a business, experience with start ups, operations, new programmes monitoring and implementation
- Good knowledge of Nepali and English languages. Knowledge of local languages such as Bhojpuri, Bajjika highly beneficial
- Professional experience working with Excel, Word, Google Drive
- Passion for charity work
The role would suit someone with previous experience working with start up companies, someone who has successfully run their own company, someone from the environmental sector (one of the social enterprises is a recycling centre), or someone with experience starting new projects – implementing and monitoring them.
Salary: 30,000Rs basic salary, accommodation, health insurance and a bonus structure based on the success of the social enterprises.
