Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in the packaged drinking water/ beverage industry of 8-10 years
  • Knowledge of the latest local safety and labor laws and regulations would be an added advantage
  • Detailed knowledge of quality control standards and plant and manufacturing operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lead a large team

Job Responsibilities

Plant Installation:

  • Lead the installation process of the new plant, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are set up according to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective plant setup.

Staff Hiring:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise key personnel, including Line Managers and Quality Control staff.
  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing team by fostering a positive work environment.

Plant Maintenance:

  • Oversee and manage routine maintenance activities to ensure the plant operates at peak efficiency.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions promptly.

Quality Control:

  • Establish and implement quality control processes to maintain the highest product standards.
  • Work closely with Quality Control teams to monitor and enhance product quality.

Factory Management:

  • Assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the factory.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plant operations with organizational goals.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.

Site Placement and Planning:

  • Provide insights and recommendations on the optimal placement of equipment and facilities within the plant.
  • Contribute to the planning and layout of the plant for maximum productivity.

Packaging and Labeling:

  • Collaborate with packaging and labeling teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company branding standards.
  • Oversee the packaging process to guarantee products are presented appealingly and securely.

Product Supervision:

  • Supervise production processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Implement measures to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
