Association of Medical Doctors of Asia-Nepal (AMDA-Nepal) was established in 1989 and was officially registered in the government office as an NGO in 1990. It is a humanitarian, nonprofit-making, non-political, non-sectarian, social organization working with its mission to promote the health and well-being of the underprivileged and marginalized people under the slogan “Better quality of life for better future”. AMDA Nepal is providing curative and preventive health services through its hospitals and projects in different parts of Nepal. AMDA Nepal also established academic health programs focusing to produce middle-level health professionals, offering various diploma level programs. This initiative reflects a commitment to evolving healthcare education and preparing skilled professionals for the future.

The USAID Sustainable HIV Epidemic Control Project will deliver relevant and efficient direct service delivery that is effective in surging, scaling, and sustaining HIV services and systems for long-term epidemic control with focus on filling existing HIV prevention, case finding, and treatment gaps, on building long-term sustainability to attain and maintain epidemic control.

This project will be implementing HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support services primarily among the female sex workers and their clients, male sex workers and their clients, men having sex with men, transgender people and people living with HIV and their partners and children in four districts of Koshi Province, namely Ilam, Jhapa, Morang and Sunsari, in close coordination with other partners/sub-partners, National networks of KPs/PLHIV and Community Based Organizations (CBOs).

The anticipated project period is 2 years, to be funded by USAID Nepal.

Position: Program/ M&E Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure and complete daily entry of data in ONHIS, do regular analysis of daily achievement in CoPCT cascade.
  • Analyze the data periodically and share to the team on regular basis for informed decision-making for program improvement.
  • Routine analysis of results for project performance improvements.
  • Review recording tools for prevention/clinical services, monthly logs sheets and ensure recorded data are accurate, complete, and timely for data quality assurance.
  • Handle and report in/through ONHIS and DATIM. Closely monitor the case findings gap.
  • Support in preparation of annual implementation plan and MEL plan.

Duty Station: Koshi province (Itahari, Sunsari)

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and/or monitoring and evaluation. Five (5) years of direct experience in the monitoring and evaluation of HIV projects.

Preferences:

  • PEPFAR-related M&E experience is preferred.
