We invite applications from interested candidates with priority from females, minority and youth groups for the following positions:
1. Monitoring Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Specialist
(Fixed-Term Employment of 2 years from the date of employment; Open to all applicants) based in Country Office.
Responsibility: Contribute to project design, establish monitoring systems, facilitate accountability mechanisms, and lead evaluations and research activities. Build capacity of Plan International Nepal and partner staff in MERL-related tasks; Must have strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders, risk management in accordance with ethical standards, and representing Plan at national and international forums. Work closely with MERL Manager providing inputs to project development, ensure data quality, and contribute to learning events to document lessons and good practices; Should be experienced in rights-based approaches to development and be able to facilitate child-led/focused monitoring, evaluation, or research.
2. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Trainee
(Short-term employment of 1 year from date of employment; Open to all applicants) based in Country Office
Responsibility: 12-month opportunity at Plan International Nepal’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Department is tailored for suitable graduates from minority groups to support MERL initiatives, assist in administration tasks, participate in capacity building, and handling general tasks; Assisting in tracking data inconsistencies, handling feedback through a toll-free number, maintaining log records, closing the feedback loop, archiving documents in the Data Archiving System, coordinating follow-ups, and translating documents as needed; Reporting to the Research, Evaluation and Knowledge Management Specialist requiring regular field travel for data collection.
3. Project Coordinator – Raskot MHH & WASH Improvement Project (RMWIP)
(Re-advertisement-Fixed term employment until December 2026; Open to all Applicants) based in Raskot under Regional Office West
Responsibility; Oversee and ensure a high-quality project delivery/ implementation of project; Ensure compliances are met, along with timely reporting; Provide technical support for Maternal Health and Hygiene and WASH initiatives in schools; Strengthen school management committees, collaborate with local government for project delivery, and ensure gender-friendly and inclusive facilities; Should have good Project management and monitoring skills, as well as work closely with partners strengthening capacity building to achieve program quality.
