Project Officer – Education (based in Bajhang)

No. of Position: 1 (Woman only)

The purpose of this position is to ensure the successful implementation of Thalara Education Projects (TEP) in Bajhang Cluster.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Sciences with minimum three years of working experience in education sectors specially in child friendly teaching-learning and quality education.
  • Three years of working experience in project management with a particular focus on Activity Based Learning (ABL), child-friendly education, Inclusive Education, Education in Emergency (EiE), ECD, and systems to support effective programming.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of government education policies, programmes, priorities and issues related to school education in Nepal.
  • Strong experience in project management including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, partner management, and developing proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills both in Nepali and English language, both written and verbal.
  • Salaries and benefits will be according to UMN policy.
