Regional Technical Lead (RTL)

Job Description:

• Responsible for planning, engineering, and implementation of Passive Optical Networks and FTTX designs.
• Conduct quality audits of passive construction and OLT sites to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Responsible to Manage network capacity augmentation and ensure the optimal performance of the core network, bandwidth, and ports.
• Monitoring inventory control for network operations, including last-mile connectivity and distribution.
• Analyze and manage optical power budget of distribution network.
• Ensuring the team meets Service Level Agreements (SLA) expectation and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Supervision and mobilization of teams for efficient network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Provide 24/7 technical support, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, accounts, and administrative teams to facilitate smooth cross-functional operations.
• Responsible to maintain databases and documentation for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with local and government authorities.

Job Requirements:

• Five years of experience in the ISP sector, preferably in a technical leadership role.
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required; a management qualification is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and managerial skills to effectively oversee regional technical operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Ability to manage and motivate teams in a dynamic work environment.
• Willingness to relocate as required by business needs.
• A strong techno-commercial mindset to drive business growth while ensuring technical excellence.
• Must have two-wheelers and a license.
