Contract: 18 months and Possible Extension
Working Hour: Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00 HRs

About Digo Bikas Institute (DBI):
Digo Bikas Institute (DBI) is a research and advocacy organization focused on grassroot intervention and movement building approach to address the crisis generated from profit-driven, unequal and exploitative economic and social structures.
Job Profile:
The role of “Research Coordinator” focuses on research activities at DBI. The Research Coordinator is responsible for leading research at Climate Justice Program in DBI. The main duty for this is to develop research methodology such as, conducting literature reviews, questionnaire, assisting in data collection and analysis, and contributing to the preparation of research reports and knowledge materials, develop research and policy brief of the research work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing research projects with necessary input and coordination.
- Contribute to the planning and design of research projects.
- Review, analyze and synthesize Research fellows research work and previous DBI research reports.
- Conduct fieldwork, including data collection and data analysis
- Provide research support to Digo Bikas Research fellows
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor and leadership team.
- Develop research brief and knowledge products
- Organize and conduct capacity-building workshops for DBI team and partners
Qualification and Skill Required:
- 3 years Minimum work experience on leading research
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Research articles publication or author of published articles will be an Addition
- Experience producing policy briefs, policy reports, evidence-based position Papers.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting fieldwork and engaging with communities.
- Proven networking, team-building, organizational and communication skills;
- Proficiency in Nepali and English writing
- Proficiency in computer software for data collection, analysis and report writing.
- Commitment to climate justice, gender equality, social justice, and sustainable development.
