Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in May 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, RDC Nepalhave been implementing “Sponsorship Operation Program (SOP) and Core Project Models Citizens Voice and Actions, CFLG/NFLG, PD hearth, Nurturing and Care, Ultra Poor Graduation and Child Protection “through the integrated programme framework (IPF)to ensure wellbeing of most vulnerable children and families in two Municipalities Garuda and Madhavarayan of Rautahat District. RDC Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions.

Position: Green Growth Officer
No. of Vacancy: 1

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management or relevant discipline

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • 2 years of experience, knowledge of climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, and eco-friendly practices; skills in promoting green livelihoods; ability to integrate environmental sustainability in child health and nutrition programs.

Position: Nutrition Officer

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or public health

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in maternal, infant, and young child feeding (MIYCF); skills in growth monitoring and counseling; 2 years of experience in developing nutrition education materials; ability to support caregivers and communities.

  • 2 years of experience working in agriculture, women’s rights, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy; skills in mobilizing women’s groups and promoting income-generating activities; ability to integrate empowerment with child well-being outcomes.
