Sabal Nepal is a non-profit social development organization in Nepal. Currently, Sabal Nepal is implementing the Welthungerhilfe (WHH) supported project titled ‘Up-Scaling WASH System Strengthening Approach in the Terai region of Nepal (NPL 1082-22) Project’ from March 2023. We invite applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following positions.
The positions are based in Siraha district and will be located in rural municipalities/municipalities as per the project’s needs.

Qualification and experiences:
- Master’s degree, preferably in Public Health, Water and Sanitation, WASH Engineering, Social Science, Development Studies, or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of similar experience with I/NGOs or government, especially in the Terai region of Nepal, in WASH-related projects, including project planning, implementation, and management.
- Excellent community mobilization and community skills.
- Knowledge on MHH and school WASH initiatives.
- Clear understanding of the development sector, including its operational and regulatory environment in rural areas of Nepal.
- Clear understanding of the socio-political, economic, and cultural issues of Nepal, specifically in post-located districts of the country.
- Clear in-depth technical and practical knowledge and understanding of the relevant job with understanding in gender equality and social inclusion.
- Advanced computer skills and fluency in speaking and report writing in English, Nepali, and local languages.
Assignment:
- 30% office-based work, including coordination and reporting, and 70% fieldwork, including supervision and backstopping (subject to modification as per program requirements).
Project period: 38 Months (Mar.2023 to Feb.2026)
