Cafe/Barista Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily café operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate baristas and support staff to maintain high service and product standards.
  • Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards as per food service regulations.
  • Track daily sales, manage POS systems, and report on financial performance.
  • Plan and implement promotional activities, seasonal menus, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service staff, and management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Barista and/or Café Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and latte art.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a team, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory and cash handling procedures.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak hours.

Preferred:

  • Certification in hospitality or barista training.
  • Experience in food handling and basic kitchen operations.
  • Creativity in introducing new beverage items and improving menu offerings.
