Kitchen Helper

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to assist in daily kitchen operations. The Kitchen Helper will support the cook and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

🔪 Food Preparation:

• Assist in basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
• Help in portioning and plating food items as directed by the cook.
• Ensure ingredients and supplies are ready for cooking.

🧼 Kitchen Cleanliness & Maintenance:

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas, counters, and storage.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene standards.

📋 Stock & Inventory Management:

• Assist in unpacking and storing food deliveries.
• Check stock levels and notify the cook or manager of shortages.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of food items.

🤝 Team Support:

Work closely with the cook and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Assist in setting up and closing the kitchen.
Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:
✅ No prior experience required (training provided).
✅ Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene is a plus.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Strong teamwork and willingness to learn.
✅ Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift kitchen supplies.

Work Conditions:

• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Requires standing for extended periods and occasional heavy lifting.
