Position: Senior Accountant
Job Location: Biratnagar
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning
Job Specification:
- Manage entire accounting cycle including general ledger management and reconciliation, payroll processing and Management, bank and intercompany reconciliation, fixed asset Management and depreciation
- Timely financial reporting and coordinating year end audits
- Conduct financial analysis, profit analysis, variance analysis, cost analysis
- Providing strong leadership guidance and mentorship to junior accountants
- Monthly/quarterly/annually budgeting, forecasting and prepare financial reports
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance Business administration and closely related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive and responsible experience in accounting finance or related field
- Experienced in manufacturing sector is essential including strong understanding about cost accounting, inventory management, production cycle and supply chain management
- Advance expertise in accounting software ERP/tally and other advance accounting systems
- Exceptional advance Microsoft Excel skills using private table, complex formulas, data modelling and financial reporting
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards of Nepalese financial reporting standards
- Knowledge about direct and indirect tax including TDS, VAT and income tax laws
- Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify data, identify trends and resolve accounting and financial issues
