Job Overview:
Shaurya Cements is looking for an experienced Mining Engineer to lead limestone extraction operations at Galtar Mines. This managerial-level role requires strong operational leadership, cost optimization, and safety compliance to ensure efficient mining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily limestone production and transportation.
• Optimize cost-effective mining strategies to enhance resource efficiency.
• Ensure quality control of limestone for cement production.
• Manage HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) deployment and maintenance.
• Implement overburden handling strategies to maximize ore recovery.
• Maintain inventory control for mining equipment and consumables.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct audits.
• Coordinate dispatch and logistics for timely limestone transportation.
• Prepare performance reports on production, costs, and safety.
• Supervise and mentor the mining team for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering with 5+ years of experience in limestone mining.
• Proven expertise in cost-effective mining practices and production target achievement.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, inventory management, and store operations.

Preferred:

• Experience with GPS & surveying equipment.
• Familiarity with mining regulations & environmental considerations.
