Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities across a specific geographic area and managing a team of sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and building relationships with dealerships and customers to achieve revenue targets and market growth.

Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details)

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and expand market share in alignment with company goals.

Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and collective sales goals while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, distributors, and key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and increase sales opportunities.

Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and recommend adjustments to the sales approach.

Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs for the sales team and track performance metrics, providing regular feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.

Forecasting and Reporting: Generate accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management, detailing regional performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.

New Business Development: Identify potential new markets, channels, and partnerships to expand the company’s customer base and enhance revenue streams.

Budget Management: Responsible for effectively managing regional sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.

Customer Engagement: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop customer-focused campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that drive engagement and loyalty.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in sales management within the automobile distribution industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive market, industry trends, and customer behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and close deals.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
