Position: Sales Officer – Food Division
Location: Butwal and Peripheral Areas
Product Focus: Fresh Chicken, Processed Meat, and Eggs
Job Summary:
As a Sales Officer for the Food Division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships within the Butwal area and its periphery. Your role will involve promoting and selling chicken meat, processed meat, and eggs to a range of clients, including retailers, wholesalers, and food service establishments. You will play a key role in expanding market share, increasing brand visibility, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive market survey of fresh chicken, other processed meat items and eggs within a 30KM peripheral area of Butwal to gather market insights and assess competition.
Identify and target potential clients in Butwal and surrounding areas. - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Promote and demonstrate the benefits of fresh chicken, processed meat and eggs to clients.
- Ensure proper product placement and visibility at client locations.
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and cost-efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize supply chain operations and meet production demands while minimizing waste and reducing costs.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with business objectives to boost revenue and market share.
- Further analyze market data to identify trends, assess competition, and understand customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Regularly report on financial, inventory, and sales performance against targets, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the food industry, particularly with meat
products, is highly preferable.
Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of the local market and industry trends is a plus.
