Job Description
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business performance and forecast future trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and objectives.
- Monitor budget execution and provide timely updates on financial performance against budgeted targets.
- Prepare regular forecasts and provide guidance on the financial implications of business decisions.
3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
4. Risk Management:
- Assess and manage financial risks, including interest rate, and liquidity risks.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.
5. Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment within the finance department.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Job Specification
- Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial role
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling tools).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions based on financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
