Front Office Supervisor

Job Description

  1. Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
  2. Supervise front office operations during assigned shift including: Maintenance of guest information
  3. Maintenance of information about local events
  4. Compile occupancy statistics
  5. Supervise group bookings
  6. Assisting with serious complaints
  7. Supervise cashiering activities during shift including: Cash handling and banking procedure
  8. Dealing with irregular payments
  9. Instructing staff in credit policies and facilities
  10. Instructing staff in cash security procedures
  11. Prepare reports
  12. Coach, counsel and discipline staff in breach of hotel policies and departmental procedures, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
  13. To liaise and organize with Housekeeping Department that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
