We also undertake laboratory tests on foundation soils and construction materials, chemical analysis of soils, water, rocks, minerals etc. for industrial, commercial or agricultural purposes for varied Engineering Projects.

Jr. Accountant

Location: Kathmandu Head Office

Job Description:

• Check all expenses Bills/Invoices accurately received at the Account Department.
• Data entry works of various purchases and expenses as per Invoices/Ledger into Excel Format/Tally Accounting Software as per direction by Head of Accounts, CEO and Board of Directors
• Check and control all payment receivable, outstanding and payables heading wise, project wise preparing balance confirmation of parties.
• Prepare, issue Purchase Orders (PO), verification of all goods received and entry into Stock Inventory. Support in stock handling in absence of store staff.
• Keep proper record with data entry in Excel of all Monthly Petty Cash with proper supporting documentations.
• Collection of payments from Clients, make payments to vendors/suppliers of goods & services.
• Managing financial records in compliance with tax (Vat Return, TDS, E-TDS) and accounting laws.
• Visit, handle coordination, documentation with Banks, Internal Revenue Department and other Organizations/Clients and all other daily office errands.
• Assist Head of Accounts with all Account related works including reconciliation, audit, tax, documentation of records as per instruction by Head of Accounts, CEO and Board of Directors.

Qualification: 10+2 or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting as Major

Work Experience:

• 1-2 Years of solid work experiences as Jr. Accountant preferably in Consulting Engineering Firms
• Proficient in operation of software like Advanced Excel, Word, Tally
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexible, dedicated, highly ethical with excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Must have own 2-Wheeler (Bike/Scooter) with updated Licenses
