We are now looking for interested and qualified individuals for the position of Automobile Instructor at SOS Vocational Training Centre Pokhara in Chhorepatan, Pokhara.

Job position:

1. Automobile Instructor (1):

The automobile instructor will be responsible for teaching, demonstrating, and mobilising day-to-day operations in the automobile department, closely coordinating with supervisors to provide quality skill training to young people from communities. S/he should take classes, collect assignments, and teaching-learning materials in line with the lesson plan. S/he should ensure that teaching staff employ various methods to conduct quick assessments/tests of students at regular intervals during class periods. Providing feedback to students on an individual or group basis to enhance performance and tracking their progress over the semester is also part of their responsibilities. Additionally, the automobile instructor should ensure the quality of teaching and learning methods prescribed by the curriculum, ensure the completion of lessons as per the semester lecture load plan, and engage in research and evaluation of subjects under the close guidance of supervisors.

Qualification, experience and skills:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering with at least a second division and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have instructional skills in Trade Technology, Engineering Drawing, and Computer-Aided Designing.
  • Good communication skills in English and Nepali and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Experience of working with children and young people will be an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having a two – wheeler license.

For the above-mentioned position, candidates must be below 35 years of age.
