SOS Children’s Villages Nepal, a non-governmental social development organisation, supports children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief. We are now looking for interested and qualified individuals for the following positions at SOS HGS Gandaki.
1. Post Graduate Teacher III – Physics (1 position; Full-time)
Qualification: Master’s degree in physics or a relevant subject with a minimum of second
division or equivalent.
2. Post Graduate Teacher III – Botany (1 position; Full-time)
Qualification: Master’s degree in botany or a relevant subject with a minimum of second
division or equivalent.
3. Post Graduate Teacher III – Chemistry (1 position; Full-time)
Qualification: Master’s degree in chemistry or a relevant subject with a minimum of
second division or equivalent.
4. Post Graduate Teacher III – Mathematics (1 position; Full-time)
Qualification: Master’s degree in mathematics with a minimum of second division or
equivalent.
5. Post Graduate Teacher III – Computer (1 position; Full-time)
Qualification: Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant subject with a minimum
of second division or equivalent.
6. Teacher – Health and Physical Education (1 position; Part-time)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of second division
or equivalent.
Common requirements for the above-mentioned positions:
- At least three years of teaching experience in the relevant subject.
- Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
7. Junior Teacher (1 position; Full-time)
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of second division or equivalent.
- At least one year of teaching experience in the relevant subject at the junior level.
- Candidates with a background in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) will
have an added advantage. - Good communication skills in both English and Nepali, along with proficiency in
computer applications. - Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
For all the above-mentioned full-time teaching positions, candidates must be Nepali citizens below 35 years of age.
