Location: Galtar Mines ( Mining Site of Shaurya Cements)

Position Overview:

As the Senior Manager/ AGM- Mines Operation, you will be at the forefront of seamlessly integrating administrative and operational functions within our limestone mines. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, you will bear the responsibility of ensuring optimal resource utilization, regulatory compliance, and fostering positive stakeholder relationships across various domains. Additionally, you will serve as the Manager of Government Relations (GR), Employee Relations (ER), and Public Relations (PR), shaping the company’s image and interactions with external entities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mining Operations & Cost Management – Oversee limestone mining, control production costs, and optimize machinery and consumable expenses while ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Transportation & Logistics – Manage limestone transportation, address local concerns, monitor routes, and collaborate with the Logistics Department to streamline operations.
• Stakeholder & Community Relations – Act as the primary contact for local communities, government bodies, and internal teams, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Government & Regulatory Compliance – Build strong relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements.
• Employee Relations & Workplace Culture – Oversee fair treatment, conflict resolution, and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
• Public Relations & CSR – Manage media relations, corporate reputation, and community engagement through CSR initiatives to strengthen the company’s public image.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience – Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred) with 7-10 years of senior management experience in mining, especially limestone production.
• Expertise & Leadership – Strong knowledge of mining operations, cost management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement, with proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Technical & Regulatory Skills – Proficiency in mining laws, industry best practices, MS Office, and relevant software.
