Project Goal:
To empower trafficking survivors and build their economic empowerment.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving project initiatives and ensuring effective project management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive project schedule, overseeing administrative tasks, and coordinating activities across project sites.
- Monitoring day-to-day progress against project milestones and activities, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.
- Facilitating partnerships between implementing partners and government stakeholders at various levels, focusing on project implementation.
- Providing guidance to field staff, adapting project schedules as needed to optimize efforts toward survivors’ empowerment.
- Managing project documentation and communications, maintaining accurate records of all project-related activities.
- Coordinating meetings and travel logistics, fostering strong collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinating with other Project Officers to ensure alignment and collaboration across different project activities and goals.
- Assisting in the development of streamlined workflows to enhance project efficiency.
- Generating monthly reports and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
- Frequent field visits to districts.
Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 2 years of experience in project management or related roles.
- Proficiency in both English and Nepali, with excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships in diverse project environments.
- A proactive mindset, capable of navigating project complexities and advocating for meaningful change.
