Panchtara Yuwa Samrakshak Manch (PTYSM) is leading Karnali Province based NGO. It was registered in District Administration Office (DAO: 26/053), Jajarkot in 1997 and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC: 6004/054) in 1998. The NGO was established by young development professionals and social workers having long experiences in rural development. The organization was established with the sole aim to create social justice through the empowerment of vulnerable groups. Since the establishment, it has been working for economically poor and socially disadvantaged groups including Dalit, indigenous and marginalized ethnicity; children, Person with Disabilities, and youths to ensure their equitable access to resources, opportunities, and decision-making processes.
PTYSM has been consistently involved in project development and execution in coordination with GoN (DCCs, Municipalities, and LAs), I/NGOs, bilateral and multilateral agencies on various dimensions ranging from community mobilization and institutional building, livelihood promotion, entrepreneurship development, education, and capacity development, training, child right and child protection, awareness, agriculture, livestock and forestry, climate change adaptation and mitigation, community health, water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), Maternal and neonatal renewal energy, social accountability, gender, disability and social Inclusion (GEDSI), human rights and peace building; and DRR & CCA. The organization is dedicated to the ideals of holistic and integrated development based on a harmonious balance of socio-culture, material and organization trusted on teamwork and development through social mobilization.
ABOUT PROJECT:
Panch Tara Yuwa Samrakshak Manch (PTYSM) has been implementing Sahayatra-III Project in Jajarkot district in partnership with Save the Children International. The vision of the project is to secure rural vulnerable children’s rights to education, protection, sexual and reproductive health, and resilience, leaving no child behind. The overall project objective is to support to disadvantage girls and boys of Jarakot district.
Supply Chain and Logistics Officer- Sahayatra III
THEME/PROGRAMME: Education, CRG and Child Protection, SHRH and change Climate Change and Green Jobs of Sahayatra III
LOCATION: PTYSM Field Office, Thalaha, Jajarkot with 20% Field visits to project locations.

ROLE PURPOSE:
Supply Chain Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, Admin and Finance Coordinator, and all thematic Coordinators, field officers. Under the direct supervision from Project Manager- Sahayatra III responsible to update day to day financial system and support of supply chain and logistics for guidance. Coordination with line agencies of finance team, procurement, and budget planning system.

Role Dimensions: This position is key position to lead Supply Chain activities through mobilization of all themes of Sahayatra-III Project.
KEY responsibilities:
Project planning and budgeting
- Planning and preparation support of the Final Procurement plan and supply chain
- Submission of Monthly logistic and stock report to related themes.
- Ensure quotation process, collection, and supply process.
- Supporting to Procurement process and Supply Chain with all Financial Compliances
- Update administrative and financial guideline with organization and program team about supply and distribution.
- Ensure support about the warehouse management and security system of materials.
- Reporting stock out and warehouse release system with all program theme
- Maintain Asset record and physical verification with Procurement committee and Admin and finance coordinator.
- Day to day arrangement of logistic system of official process.
Coordination, Collaboration and Networking
- Maintain good coordination with Finance/supply chain team of Save the children.
- Harmonize, facilitate and ensure to integrate the project components with all financial compliances.
- Bridge the project related information between Save the Children and organization.
Project implementation
- Support to distribution of provided materials and support.
- Maintain proper data and documentation system of logistic items.
- Collect feedback and learning from stakeholders and other concern agencies for the program about logistic system.
Project review and monitoring
- Field visits the project areas for supervision and monitoring the field level activities with logistic and financial compliances.
- Support to conduct distribution and logistics arrangement.Project reporting and documentation
- Prepared monthly, Semi-annual, and Annual distribution logistic tracking system.
- Share the logistic report and area of improved and betterment.
- Work closely with MEAL & documentation coordinator to ensure the project progress is in track and quality set in the project documents are met.
- Initiate corrective actions based on the feedback from MEAL& documentation coordinator and Save the children representative.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in management or BBS/BBA and having 3 years’ experience in financial management and supply chain or bachelor’s degree in management 2 years of experience for GEDSI group.

- Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills (team building and teamwork) with key stakeholders at project and district level.
