Trainee – Social Media Management

Key learning objectives: The trainee will have exposure to the professional working environment and will gain a hands-on experience in social media management for a development organization, effective communications, technologies, and teamwork. The trainee will also build a professional network within the development and communications sectors.

Required Education and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree (within two years of applying) in communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali (Nepali typing in UNICODE is a must); Basic graphic design skills and using design software; Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, poverty reduction.

Duty Station: Helvetas Nepal Country Office, Lalitpur with frequent field visits.

Duration: 11 months (expected starting date – January 2024)
