Mechanical Engineer

𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 – 1 𝐍𝐨𝐬

1. Oversee the selection, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
2. Ensure all machinery and tools are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.
3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment.
4. Provide technical support and expertise to construction teams on the use of mechanical equipment.
5. Collaborate with project managers to plan and manage mechanical aspects of construction projects.
6. Ensure mechanical systems are integrated into construction plans effectively.
7. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform or coordinate necessary repairs.
8. Maintain records of equipment performance and repairs.
9. Develop strategies for minimizing downtime and improving equipment efficiency.
10. Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for equipment procurement and services.
11. Prepare and manage budgets for mechanical equipment and maintenance.
12. Track and control costs associated with equipment and tool usage.
13. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
14. Maintain detailed records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and repair logs.
15. Prepare and present reports on equipment status, performance, and needs to management.
16. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
3. Experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in construction.
5. Strong organizational and project management skills.
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
