Position: Project Officer – Education
Required No.: 1 (Mugu Cluster)
The main purpose of this position is to ensure the successful implementation of the “Disability Rights and Education Advancement in Mugu (DREAM II) education project in the cluster.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Sciences with minimum three years of working experience in education sectors specially in child friendly teaching-learning and quality education.
- Three years of working experience in project management with a particular focus on Activity Based Learning (ABL), child-friendly education, Education in Emergency (EiE), School Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), policies, and systems to support effective programming.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of government education policies, programmes, priorities, and issues related to school education in Nepal.
- Strong experience in project management including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and developing proposals.
- Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English language, both written and verbal.
Position: Project Officer – Disability Inclusion and Multilingual Education
Required No.: 1 (Mugu Cluster)
The main purpose of this position is to ensure the successful implementation to manage disability and multilingual education projects in the cluster.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Science or relevant disciplines with minimum three years of working experience in education or disability inclusion sectors.
- Three years of working experience in project management with a particular focus on disability inclusion and rehabilitation or Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR), and current multi-lingual education programmes in Nepal.
- Good understanding on disability inclusion and rehabilitation relating to national policies and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English language, both written and verbal.
