World Wide Travel & Tours is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring our continued success.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including overseeing the proper functionality of all accounting systems and processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of accounts, following strict deadlines to maintain financial regularity and consistency.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to collect all pending payments promptly.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports for management to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and keep up-to-date with changes in financial laws and guidelines.
  • Identify potential cost-reducing opportunities and efficiency improvements within the accounting department.
  • Participate in financial audits and cooperate with external auditors as required.
  • Experience or familiarity with accounting practices specific to the travel and tours industry is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2 to 3 Years of proven experience as an Accountant or similar role in a financial setting.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Tally ERP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices.
