Position Title: Sales Head – Bagmati Region
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Target Achievement
- Prepare and execute the regional sales plan, focusing on product-wise and area-wise targets.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin targets for Bagmati region.
- Review team and distributor performance weekly and implement corrective measures to close sales gaps.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Channel Management & Expansion
- Identify, and build new distributors and dealers in high-potential areas.
- Strengthen existing dealer relationships through consistent engagement and incentive programs.
- Monitor distributor inventory, sales, and ROI, ensuring healthy channel profitability.
Field Sales Supervision
- Lead and monitor Sales Executives/Officers in their daily fieldwork, sales calls, and route planning.
- Conduct joint field visits to evaluate execution quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure complete and timely reporting (sales, collection, competitor activity) from the field.
Market Development
- Track competitor performance, pricing, and trade schemes
- Identify potential institutional or bulk buyers and close deals to boost regional volume.
Coordination & Reporting
- Align with national teams on pricing, dispatch planning, and promotional calendar.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales performance reports and business insights.
- Maintain strong coordination with logistics, accounts, and marketing for seamless execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree Business management or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of sales experience in agro-commodities, FMCG or related field, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
- Experience operating in Bagmati Province (or similar terrain), understanding of local agro-product markets and channel dynamics.
- Proven record of delivering regional sales growth, managing distributor/dealer networks, driving field force effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, team management, analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel across the region, engage with field teams and customers
