Position: Business Analyst

Position Overview
This role is responsible for conducting detailed requirements analysis, developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and translating complex business processes into structured user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
He/She will work closely with project managers, developers, architects, UX/UI designers, and QA teams, the Business Analyst will define project scope, validate requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions that align with strategic objectives. Participation in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning is essential to ensure timely delivery and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders, clients, and users to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis, translating business needs into structured Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for Engineers, Architects, and Developers.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to define project scope and create detailed requirements.
- Develop and maintain user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes as part of the requirements gathering process.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies between business requirements and technical capabilities, proposing solutions as needed.
- Validate requirements by reviewing and ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Support the QA team by ensuring requirements are fully tested and meet user expectations.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies, contributing to the project’s overall success.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to facilitate a clear understanding of requirements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and ERP solutions to provide expert insight to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with prior experience working on ERP systems or workflow management software.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with requirements management and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and systems integration concepts.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with proven experience in analyzing complex business problems and providing actionable solutions.
- A background in software development or QA is a plus, providing a better understanding of the development process.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to create and maintain clear, detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and an understanding of core modules such as finance, inventory, HR, and project management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business processes and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in documentation and workflow tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, or Confluence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of SQL or data modeling to support data-related requirements is a plus.
