Position: Human Resources Officer
Location: Kathmandu
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Business Studies/Administration
- Proficient in HRIS Tools.
Experience
- At least 2-4 years of work experience in HR field.
HR Officer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department by implementing and administering HR policies, procedures, and programs. The position handles recruitment, employee relations, performance management support, attendance tracking, and other key HR functions.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding
- Assist in posting job advertisements and managing job portals
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates
- Conduct reference checks and prepare offer letters
- Organize onboarding sessions and ensure proper documentation
2. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Assist in handling disciplinary issues and grievances under supervision
3. Attendance and Leave Management
- Monitor staff attendance and maintain accurate records
- Process leaves applications and update leave balances
- Coordinate with departments for shift schedules and overtime
4. Performance Management
- Support in implementing appraisal systems
- Maintain performance records and assist in goal tracking
- Follow up with managers on review deadlines
5. HR Administration
- Update and maintain employee database (both hard and soft copies)
- Draft HR letters, memos, notices, and internal communications
- Maintain confidentiality and security of HR-related data
6. Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Assist in audits and prepare HR-related reports as required
- Supports on filings and documentation
Other Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools
- Discreet and ethical in handling confidential matters
- Detail-oriented and proactive
