Position: IT Officer
Location: Corporate Office, Gairidhara, Kathmandu
𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 is looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role will ensure smooth system operations, network security, and reliable IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Head Office services (HRMS, Tally, and other hosted applications) ensuring backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Active Directory.
- Manage Mail Servers (Zimbra / O365).
- Administer and monitor VMware ESXi virtualization environments.
- Manage domains and cPanel hosting environments.
- Ensure proper functioning of third-party applications such as App Anywhere and SMS systems.
- Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers.
- Manage switches, firewall, and network monitoring systems for corporate office and factories.
- Oversee endpoint security management and configuration.
- Assist in IT project implementation and maintain proper documentation.
- Guide and share technical knowledge with junior team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or system administration
- Strong knowledge of server management, networking, virtualization, and IT security
