Soil Test (P.) Ltd., an ISO 9001:2015 certified pioneering Engineering & Management Consultancy Firm established in the year 1979 with 47 years’ legacy of providing complete range of dedicated and reliable engineering & allied management services in the field of Buildings, Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management. We also undertake laboratory tests on foundation soils and construction materials, chemical analysis of soils, water, rocks, minerals etc. for industrial, commercial or agricultural purposes for varied Engineering Projects.
We are looking for highly enthusiastic, experienced, competitive and dedicated candidates with long term commitments of minimum 2 years for the following position:
Office Engineer (Civil Engineer) – 2 positions – Kathmandu Office based
Job Description:
- Be involved in Structural drawing/drafting/detailing works using AutoCAD 2018 of Building, Bridge and other Civil Engineering Projects.
- Assist the Technical Director with research, compilation/preparation of reports on Pre-Feasibility Study/DPR/Proposal/RFP and other related works of Geotechnical, Irrigation, Water Resources, Hydro-Power, Bridge, Disaster Management, Environment Engineering, Water Supply and other related Civil Engineering Projects.
- Review of various reports, data collection, analysis and preparation of Power Point presentation slides.
- Assist the Technical Director for Conferences, Seminars and other event/programs.
- Assist in Content Creation, formatting and handling Digital Media etc.
- Other works as per instruction by the Technical Director.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with very good proficiency in AutoCAD 2018, advance Excel, Word, Power Point, GIS and other Technical Civil Engineering Software Systems. Advance level Excel, Word, Power Point Software and very strong report writing and presentation skills.
Work Experience:
- 1-2 Years of solid work experiences in use of advance AutoCAD 2018, advance Excel, Word, Power Point, GIS and other Software systems.
Salary & Perks:
Negotiable and shall not be constraint for the right candidates depending on skill levels of candidates.
Time: 9:00 AM in the Morning – 5 :30 PM in the evening
Note: All candidates must have own 2-Wheeler (Bike/Scooter) with updated Licenses.
