Job Responsibilities
- Greet and attend patients in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
- Address patient inquiries and provide information on services, procedures, and directions.
- Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision, maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documentation, offering support as needed.
- Manage front desk operations, ensuring the area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Collect and process payments for services rendered, providing receipts and maintaining accurate records.
- Dispatch patient reports
- Monitor the waiting area to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients.
- Ensure the availability of necessary forms and supplies for patient processing.
- Handle appointment rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-up reminders with patients.
- Maintain and update patient records with accuracy, ensuring confidentiality in line with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports on front desk activities, patient statistics, and other relevant metrics.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and patient flow.
- Adhere strictly to the policies and procedures of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with ISO 15189:2022 standards.
- Stay updated with healthcare regulations and best practices, applying them to front desk operations.
- Support the organization of health camps and other events as needed.
