Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and attend patients in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Address patient inquiries and provide information on services, procedures, and directions.
  • Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision, maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documentation, offering support as needed.
  • Manage front desk operations, ensuring the area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Collect and process payments for services rendered, providing receipts and maintaining accurate records.
  • Dispatch patient reports
  • Monitor the waiting area to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary forms and supplies for patient processing.
  • Handle appointment rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-up reminders with patients.
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy, ensuring confidentiality in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports on front desk activities, patient statistics, and other relevant metrics.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and patient flow.
  • Adhere strictly to the policies and procedures of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with ISO 15189:2022 standards.
  • Stay updated with healthcare regulations and best practices, applying them to front desk operations.
  • Support the organization of health camps and other events as needed.
