JOB OPPORTUNITY
CRICKET ASSOCIATION OF NEPAL (CAN) is the official governing body of cricket in Nepal with the head office in Mulpani, Kathmandu, Nepal and it is Nepal’s representative at the International Cricket Council. It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
CAN is looking for qualified candidates for the following role:
Position: Officer- Women Cricket Development Officer
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in planning and implementing programs for the development and promotion of women’s cricket across Nepal.
2. Coordination for promotion and participation of girls in cricket through school, community, and grassroots initiatives.
3. Support identification and development of talented female cricketers and strengthen age-group pathways.
4. Assist in the planning and coordination of women’s domestic tournaments and competitions.
5. Facilitate training and development opportunities for female coaches, umpires, officials, and administrators.
6. Work closely with district and provincial cricket associations, schools, and other stakeholders to implement women’s
cricket programs.
7. Monitor development initiatives and maintain proper reporting and documentation of activities and outcomes.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelors’ degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field preferred
2. At least 2 years of experience in related field
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
2. Fluent in speaking and writing in English and Nepali languages.
3. Proficient in MS Office.
