Position: Officer to Assistant Manager
Required: 1
Location: Corporate Office, Naxal, Kathmandu
Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field from a recognized university
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the General Insurance industry, specifically within the Agriculture Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Agriculture Department
- Evaluate agricultural insurance proposals and documentation
- Conduct field inspections and prepare inspection/claim assessment reports
- Coordinate with farmers, cooperatives, financial institutions, stakeholders, and government authorities
- Handle agricultural insurance subsidy-related procedures with Government of Nepal authorities
- Conduct awareness, outreach, and training programs related to agricultural insurance
- Support development and promotion of agricultural insurance products and business growth initiatives
- Maintain departmental records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of agricultural insurance policies, claims, and regulatory procedures
- Ability to conduct field visits and prepare analytical reports
- Leadership, training, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting
