Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, developing business strategies, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Generate leads through networking, field visits, referrals, and online research.
- Meet with potential clients and present company products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, institutions, corporate clients, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to support business growth initiatives.
- Attend meetings, events, and exhibitions to promote company services.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree completed or currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client relationship management is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to conduct field visits, client meetings, and business development activities.
- Professional attitude with a customer-focused approach.
- Fluency in English and Nepali (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with educational institutions, training programs, or service-based businesses.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
