Role Description

Job Summary:

St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu invites applications from enthusiastic, creative, and motivated individuals for the position of Digital Media Assistant under the Office of ICT. The successful candidate will support the College’s digital communication initiatives by creating engaging multimedia content, managing digital assets, assisting with social media operations, and promoting the institution’s activities through innovative digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and publishing engaging content for the College’s social media platforms and digital channels.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photographs and videos of academic, administrative, and co-curricular events.
  • Design digital graphics, promotional materials, and multimedia content that align with the College’s branding guidelines.
  • Maintain and organize the College’s digital media archive, including photographs, videos, and creative assets.
  • Monitor social media engagement, audience insights, and campaign performance, and prepare basic performance reports.
  • Coordinate with departments to collect stories, achievements, and event highlights for digital promotion.
  • Stay informed about current digital media trends and content strategies.

Job Specification

Qualification and Experience:

  • Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media, Communications, Digital Marketing, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in digital media, content creation, social media management, or a similar role.
  • Candidates with a Professional Certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Multimedia Production, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply.
