Posiiton: Retail Store Manager
Location: Kathmandu
Metro Market is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily supermarket operations, lead store teams, achieve sales targets, and deliver an outstanding customer experience while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Lead, motivate, train, and supervise the store team.
- Achieve sales, profitability, and operational targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain merchandising standards, product availability, and store presentation.
- Monitor inventory, stock movement, shrinkage, and stock accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with Head Office and other departments for efficient store operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail/FMCG, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic retail reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
