JOB OPPORTUNITY

Bigmart is inviting applications for the position of Trainee Assistant – Finance. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing and reconciling transaction related documents, coordinating with stores, Distribution Centers (DCs), vendors, and internal teams, and ensuring the timely completion of assigned finance activities.

Work Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Location: Bigmart Head Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu
Job Nature: Office-Based with Regular Field Visits for finance-related duties

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Record and maintain daily purchase invoice entries accurately and timely.
  • Prepare daily Goods Receive Chalan reports and follow up on pending GRCs.
  •  Prepare and maintain Logistic Record – Gate Entry Record for goods receipt tracking and reconciliation.
  •  Collect, organize, and file purchase bills from stores and Distribution Centers (DC).
  •  Process vendor and rental cheque deposits as required.
  •  Scan and maintain deposit vouchers and finance-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date finance records and documents.
  • Coordinate with stores, DCs, vendors and internal teams on invoice, receipt, and payment documentation.
  • Undertake field visits to vendors, landlords, banks, and other locations for cheque deposits, document collection, and other finance-related activities.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Specifications:

Education & Qualifications:

  •  At least +2 completed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (ongoing or completed) will be preferred.

Experience:

  •  Fresh graduates with a basic understanding of accounting and finance principles are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple routine tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  •  Willingness to undertake field visits for finance-related activities as required.
  •  Valid two-wheeler driving license and access to a personal two-wheeler.
  •  Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
