Procurement and Supply Chain Officer based in Kathmandu
Under the supervision of the Procurement, Logistics and Fleet Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining professional relationships with vendors to ensure timely procurement of quality goods and services. The position facilitates effective coordination among CARE Nepal, project offices, and vendors; develops and monitors procurement plans and lease commitments; and ensures timely delivery to support smooth program implementation.
The role ensures procurement activities comply with donor requirements, CARE USA procurement policies, procedures, and relevant guidelines, while maintaining proper documentation and accountability throughout the procurement process. The incumbent is expected to consistently uphold CARE’s policies and standards in all procurement-related activities

CARE initiates rigorous investigation of complaints that indicate a possible violation of this policy and takes appropriate disciplinary action, as warranted.
