Position: Caregiver / Patient Care Assistant

Minimum Qualification:
- Minimum SEE Pass
Experience:
- Candidates with recognized caregiver training and relevant healthcare experience will be given preference.
- Fresh candidates with appropriate caregiver training may apply.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, elderly-care facility, rehabilitation centre or similar healthcare setting will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
- Assist patients with feeding and maintaining adequate hydration as instructed by nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning and safe transfer.
- Maintain patient comfort, hygiene and a safe environment.
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with non-clinical patient-care activities.
- Observe and promptly report changes in the patient’s condition to the assigned nurse.
- Follow infection-prevention, hand-hygiene and hospital safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the patient’s immediate care area.
- Provide compassionate and respectful support to patients and their attendants.
- Perform other patient-support duties assigned by the nursing supervisor.
