Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely drive company vehicles for goods delivery, collection, official visits, and other authorized purposes.
• Deliver furnishing, furniture, foam, mattress, curtains, carpets, and other company products to customers as instructed.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain proper coordination with the Sales, Store, and Delivery teams.
• Verify goods, delivery challans, invoices, and other relevant documents before loading and unloading.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, battery, and other essential vehicle components regularly.
• Immediately report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or maintenance requirements to the concerned authority.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movement, fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance, and delivery trips.
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, safety procedures, and instructions from authorized supervisors.
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of goods and assist in loading and unloading when required.
• Safeguard company vehicles, goods, documents, fuel cards, and other assigned assets.
  Ensure that the vehicle is used only for authorized company purposes.
• Maintain professional and courteous behavior with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned by the Supervisor/manager.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Valid driving licence for the assigned vehicle category.
• Relevant driving experience, preferably in goods delivery or commercial transportation.
• Knowledge of Pokhara Valley routes and surrounding areas.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good communication, punctuality, discipline, and time-management skills.
• Responsible attitude, honesty, and commitment to road safety.

• Overtime and other applicable benefits as per company policy and prevailing labour laws.
• Field duties, loading/unloading assistance, and occasional travel outside Pokhara as required by the company.
