Manavsewa Ashram is a dedicated non-profit social organization founded in Makwanpur, Hetauda on August 29, 2012. We are committed to making Nepal a ‘street people free country’ by supporting the most vulnerable, impoverished, disabled, homeless, and psychologically challenged individuals living in harsh street environments.
With 20+ branches across the country, our mission relies on timely, efficient, and ethical supply chain support, making procurement a key function in our operations.
Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support our Procurement Department in managing daily sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination tasks. Working directly under the Procurement Officer, this role involves regular market visits, supplier follow-ups, handling purchase documentation, and responding to procurement demands from our nationwide branches.
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone eager to start a career in procurement and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting quotations, conducting market studies, and preparing comparative analysis
- Visit local markets regularly to source materials, compare prices, and coordinate deliveries
- Communicate with vendors/suppliers for order status, delivery timelines, and negotiations
- Support documentation of purchase requests, quotations, purchase orders, and receipts
- Maintain procurement records, databases, and assist in periodic reporting
- Coordinate with branch offices to fulfill material demands in a timely and efficient manner
- Work closely with Finance/Admin to ensure proper billing and payment processes
- Be flexible to travel locally and occasionally visit branch locations if required
Qualifications & Skills
- +2 or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Studies, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in procurement or admin support is a plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and willingness to learn
- Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and be comfortable with regular field visits
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
